Privacy policy
What this is
Tab Alpha is a private tool built and operated by one person to script, render and publish content to accounts that person owns: YouTube channels, a Pinterest business account, and an Etsy shop. It is not offered to the public, has no sign-up, and has no users or customers other than its operator. This policy describes what the software does with data, plainly, because it has to accompany the API applications it uses, not because there is a user base to protect.
Google data this app accesses
Tab Alpha connects to the operator's own Google account and requests the following YouTube Data API and YouTube Analytics API scopes:
youtube.readonly- read the state of the operator's own channels and videos, so the dashboard can show what already exists.youtube.upload- upload new videos the operator has approved to the operator's own channels.youtube.force-ssl- manage those same videos after upload (titles, descriptions, thumbnails, visibility) over an authenticated connection.yt-analytics.readonly- read performance figures (views, watch time) for the operator's own published videos.
Every piece of data these scopes touch belongs to the operator's own YouTube channels. Tab Alpha does not request or access data belonging to any other Google account, channel, or person.
Pinterest data this app accesses
Tab Alpha connects to the operator's own Pinterest business account and requests the following scopes:
boards:read- list the operator's own boards, so a pin can be placed on the right one.boards:write- organise the operator's own boards.pins:read- read the operator's own pins and their analytics (impressions, saves, outbound clicks), so the operator can see what performs.pins:write- create pins on the operator's own boards.
All of this data belongs to the operator's own Pinterest account. Tab Alpha does not request or access boards, pins, or analytics belonging to any other Pinterest account or person, and it does not read other people's profiles or feeds.
Etsy data this app accesses
Tab Alpha connects to the operator's own Etsy shop and requests the listings_w
scope, plus read access to that shop's own receipts. It uses these to create and publish
digital download listings for products the operator designs, and to read the sales figures for
those listings so the operator can see which products sell.
Buyer information is not used. Receipts are read only to total the revenue attributable to the operator's own listings; no buyer name, address, or contact detail is stored, processed, or transferred anywhere.
Where data is stored
- OAuth tokens for every platform above are stored in files on the operator's own
computer, under
~/.config/, readable only by that operator. They are never uploaded anywhere else. - Video state summaries (title, pipeline stage, scene counts) are stored in Cloudflare D1, a database used only by this operator's own Workers.
- Rendered media is stored in Cloudflare R2, an object store used only by this operator's own Workers.
Nothing is sold, shared, rented, or transferred to any third party. There is no advertising, no analytics vendor, and no other integration that this data flows to.
Limited Use
Tab Alpha's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Revoking access
Because the only account connected is the operator's own, access can be revoked at any time from that account's Google Account permissions page, which immediately invalidates Tab Alpha's tokens.
